| 1) | We strongly recommend hand washing in cold water with a baby shampoo or mild wool wash and conditioner. Shape the garment after washing and lay flat to dry.

| 2) | Our second choice is to have a professional dry cleaner use a petroleum based dry cleaning solution. All hand painted ceramic buttons must be wrapped individually in aluminum foil or removed before dry cleaning or they will break.

| 3) | If you have purchased a simple poncho or Viejita cape, you may notice excess shedding. The solution to this problem is to place the item, dry into a dryer with the setting at fluff and no heat, run the dryer about fifteen minutes. The excess fiber should be collected by your lint filter.
